Clockwise alternatives for your Slack and Teams status

Clockwise has closed. Here is what to use for your Slack and Teams status, and how to move in about five minutes.

  • Set up in about five minutes Connect Slack or Teams and your calendar, then choose what meetings, lunch and evenings do.

The short answer

Clockwise shut down on 27 March 2026 after its team joined Salesforce. If the part you relied on was your Slack or Microsoft Teams status following your calendar, Don't Interrupt does that one job, works in Teams too and starts free; Clockwise's FAQ pointed people to Reclaim, a calendar planner whose Slack status sync is only on paid plans.

Why choose Don't Interrupt

  • All you need is status, presence and Do Not Disturb that follow your calendar.
  • You use Microsoft Teams as well as Slack.
  • You'd rather set it up once than run a full planner.

When Reclaim makes sense. Reclaim, the partner Clockwise's FAQ names, makes sense if you also want your calendar planned for you, and it imports Clockwise's .json export. Don't Interrupt only sets your status, so it isn't a full Clockwise replacement.

“I can't think of any other piece of technology that brought me as much mental peace at work as Don't Interrupt. All my Slack notifications are silenced when I'm in a meeting and I can pay attention to what is being discussed.”
Jairam Chandar, Engineering Manager, Meltwater

What happened to Clockwise

Clockwise's own page says its team is joining Salesforce and that the product stopped being available on 27 March 2026. Its FAQ says prepaid subscriptions were refunded pro rata, and that there is no transfer of data to Salesforce and your data will be deleted. The same FAQ names Reclaim as the alternative it partnered with, and doesn't say Reclaim is the only option.

For exporting, Clockwise's FAQ points data questions to its support email. Reclaim's help says an exported Clockwise .json file can be imported through its settings. See Reclaim and Don't Interrupt compared for the detail.

Moving to Don't Interrupt

There is nothing to import: Don't Interrupt needs your calendar and your Slack or Teams account. Sign up, connect them, and choose what a meeting, your lunch and your evenings do to your status. See how to pause notifications during meetings and how to put the meeting name in your Slack status.

Don't Interrupt is bootstrapped (see the about page) and reads your calendar to set your status. Read the privacy policy and security page before connecting any calendar.
